EXHIBITION: Mon Montoya

He watched jueves 10 February two joint celebrations: the opening of a new gallery and presentation of the last professional painter's pictorial series Mon Montoya.

The Art Gallery KAIBIDE By García de Vinuesa Street is located in Puebla, 14, in the heart of "commercial and cultural triangle": triBall , lying between Gran Vía, Fuencarral and slide down. The gallery

Kaibide Eduardo Garcia, San Sebastian is a photographer based in Madrid. He has designed the logo of the gallery.

In the words of its director, Luis García de Vinuesa , created with the aim KAIBIDE to be a reference. "Like all things, be a matter of style and we have to do with the conception of art as a territory to explore, as a sort of trip to the shapes and color." Andrés

Piedehierro designed Montoya Mon catalog for this exhibition and the Gallery's website. In this direction you have the link: www.mas-imagen.com

's extensive career of Mon Montoya leads to this new pictorial series entitled Chapel memory, you can see until 2 April.

Memory Chapel is the result of " a set of reflections on feeling" that the painter has reflected with an exquisite elegance and depth in the catalog of his exhibition, which begins:

"In the Portuguese out Espichel is a small church full of light at the edge of the sea.
A green gulf water braids.
Unknown
blue sea between harmful and secrets.

Memory Chapel.
As if there was no life left blank time began to hope. " Mon

Montoya is my companion of Fine Arts and had long since we met. I loved attending his presentation. I look forward to seeing these days, to discuss their work, remember the times of study. Yesterday in the exhibition could not do, as you can see from the photos, was engulfed by a sea of \u200b\u200bfriends.

What Does High Bilirubin For Liver Mean

MY WORK: Remembering stages pictorial abstractions about my study

I'm working on the first sketches for a new series Fragments holders. The main focus of their theme revolves around various corners of my study that motivated me by their unexpected plasticity, casual, produced by a vertex that receives atarcecer last light on the range of angles formed by superimposing several canvases or by the play of chiaroscuro that arises between various objects arranged randomly.

I am interested in metaphorical spaces that stretch around objects: boundaries of thought and feeling, shared sites formed by magma belonging to several bodies, mist guiding vision among the different constructions, drawings splits doubt raise questions about their reality matérica. These reflections will serve as a starting point for the completion of the new pictures that come from my "laboratory" pictorial.

As I think about the new series remember pictures of other stages based on different views of my studio and I discover my tendency years to fragment space. Like a recurring dream portrait again and again different corners combining several views, linking on a rhythmic dance of lines and planes that make up the scenes.

To understand better these last words that you see a selection of paintings done over several years, all related to the four walls of my studio.

I like to compare at the time, the differences between these and my new paintings.
